International Centennial Exposition

Centennial Exposition, International, world's fair held in Philadelphia from May to Nov. 1876, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Exhibits from the arts and sciences were displayed by 49 nations. The United States exhibited its new mass production techniques. The fair attracted almost 10 million visitors.
