Maria Luigi Cherubini



Cherubini, Maria Luigi (1760–1842), Italian composer who spent most of his life in France. He wrote operas: Medea (1797) and Les Deux journées (1800), which influenced Beethoven, and sacred works, such as the Requiem in D minor (1836).
