Cinnamon

Cinnamon (genus Cinnamomum), tree or shrub of the laurel family. The inner bark of the Ceylon cinnamon (C. zeylanicum) is used as a spice; in medicine, C. camphora serves as a digestion stimulant and to treat dyspepsia.
