Henri Marie Coanda



Coanda, Henri Marie (1885–1972), Romanian-born French aeronautics engineer and inventor, who designed an aircraft based on the jet-propulsion system. It crashed in 1912. Coanda also developed a dish-shaped aircraft and invented a device able to convert salt water to fresh water using solar energy.
