Victor Prosper Considérant

Considérant, Victor Prosper (1808–93), French socialist. He promoted the doctrines of Charles Fourier, edited La Phalange, and published Social Destiny (1834–38) and Principles of Socialism (1847). He tried unsuccessfully to establish a communistic community in Texas (1855–57).
