Katharine Cornell
Cornell, Katharine (1898–1974), U.S. stage actress, noted for her major roles in serious dramas, often directed by her husband, Guthrie McClintic. Her most famous part was Elizabeth Barrett Browning in The Barretts of Wimpole Street (1931).
