Cornstarch
Cornstarch, fine white flour extracted from corn. Ground and refined after the seed- bearing portion (germ) has been removed from the kernels, cornstarch is formed after a wet milling and drying process. It is a key ingredient in baking powder and is used in the manufacture of explosives, paints, and textiles.
